The New England Chapter of the SFPE solicits financial support from corporate sponsors to assist with the costs of the chapter’s annual golf outing, annual seminar, and monthly dinner meetings. All proceeds from these events support the A.L. Brown Scholarship and the Fire Department Grant programs. The A.L. Brown Scholarship provides financial assistance to students working towards degrees in Fire Protection Engineering. The Fire Department Grant provides financial assistance to New England fire departments for education or training related initiatives. This October, a total of $15,000 will be distributed to scholarship recipients.

Our corporate sponsorship program allows our sponsors to provide financial support throughout the chapter year (June 1st to May 31st), and we offer four tiers of sponsorship. Some levels include registrations at the golf outing and seminar, in addition to the opportunity to advertise and exhibit at these events.

The New England Chapter of the SFPE is proud to announce the 15th Annual A.L. Brown Scholarship Golf Outing!

Details:

• Friday, September 27th, 2024
• Cyprian Keyes Golf Club, Boylston, MA
• 9:00 am shotgun start

The outing will be scramble (or best-ball) style. Registration for golf is $250 per player and includes:

• 18 holes of golf
• Donation to the A.L. Brown Scholarship Fund
• Golf cart
• "Goodie Bag" filled with golf balls, golf tees, snacks, and a drink
  
• Buffet lunch

A post-golf reception will be held to award prizes. If you would like to just attend the reception, registration is $50, which includes lunch.  Golfers will be able to use the driving range free of charge before the outing starts.

All proceeds from this event will go to the A.L. Brown Scholarship, which is awarded annually to New England students working on a bachelor or graduate degree in an engineering discipline with an interest in pursuing a career in fire protection engineering.
