VOTING OPEN: Constitution and By-Law Proposed Changes

The SFPE New England Board of Directors is proposing changes to the Chapter’s Constitution and By-Laws that can be found at the link below.

The most significant changes are with regard to the Fire Department Grant Program:

The Constitution and By-Laws have been updated to define the Fire Department Grant Program.
The Chapter’s funds (previously named the Scholarship Fund) has been renamed the Charitable Fund to allow for money to be distributed for both Scholarships and Fire Department Grants.
The Fire Department Grant Committee will be created to oversee the Fire Department Grant applications and distributions.
