Golf Outing

Thank you for helping to make the third annual A.L. Brown Scholarship Golf Outing a success!  This year's event was held on Friday, September 9th at Cyprian Keyes Golf Club in Boylston, MA and we had 78 golfers come out for the event.  It was a beautiful day for golf and we raised a total of $4,800 for the A.L. Brown Scholarship!  This scholarship is awarded annually to New England students working on a bachelor or graduate degree in an engineering discipline with an interest in pursuing a career in fire protection engineering.

Congratulations to the winners!  The competition was fierce with the winning team decided with a tiebreaker.

The first place team, which is shown below, was Team 10: Mike Hourihan, Timothy Fox, Brian Boylan, and Seth Sienkiewicz.  They ended at 10 under par and won with a tiebreaker.  Great job guys!

The second place team was Team 15: Andy Purtell, Kevin Toomey, Mike Beatrice, and Lance Harry.  They also ended at 10 under par. 

The third place team was Team 3: Mike Smith, Drew Slocum, Phil Gunning, and Carl Koslowski.  They ended at 9 under par.

Congratulations to the individual winners as well!  Winning the closest to pin on Hole 9 was Scott Nielsen.  Jack Welch won the closest to pin on Hole 16.  Brian Boylan took home the longest drive title on Hole 14.  Great job all!
